Happy Dance!

I worked for an hour and a half last night and got on top of a whole lot of admin! It meant this morning, I could head for gym and start work on my return.

The biggest irritation for me over the last few days has been my HAIR! It’s been driving me nuts. I just haven’t had a chance to get it cut. Today, after I finished the bulk of work, I headed to the Mall to do a few chores and when down there, I decided to message my hairdresser and just get booking. She whatsapped me back almost immediately to say she could see me at 1-45pm. I looked at my watch and it was 12-55. I couldn’t believe I could have my hair cut TODAY!

Happy dance!

Normally my hairdresser is fully booked and I was hoping to get in by Wednesday. She had two cancellations today. I was so happy. When I got there, I was telling her about Elsie and she said the last time I was there was just before Elsie was born! She didn’t even know her name! No wonder I was feeling so bushy. I hadn’t had my hair cut for two months!

#732 of my 1000 thanks – HAIRCUT!!!

(Cat is hovering around my keyboard again!) Truffles! What is it with you?

Mike and I went for a walk this evening and saw a wonderful sunset. Winter sunsets are the best…

Our conversation while walking has now changed from square metres and staircase positioning to who we send the plans to first. I think it will be the engineer & the builder for their comments. Once we have that back, we’ll send them to the architect.  We are edging forward.

Truffles is sitting on my diary, so I can’t see the Bible verse. She is going to be seriously displeased at being moved. Grumpy cat.  Here we go….one of the shortest verses from my diary…

Ecclesiastes 11:10

Refuse to worry….

I didn’t even know that was there but it is…

Love that. Let that be my new memory verse! “I refuse to worry. Ecclesiastes 11:10”

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
