First Fruits

There was only one that was ripe, so while I was putting the washing on the line, Mike picked it, washed it and when we went inside we cut it up and ate it. It was the first nectarine from our potted nectarine tree…

It was incredibly sweet….

We also have apples. We will see how these turn out…

They are in pots along with lemon, orange and fig trees. The figs are bearing, but we have yet to see lemons or oranges. We water them from the tank water.

#526 of my 1000 thanks is for first fruits! 🙂

The day has been a pleasant one. I ran 5km in 36 minutes, walked 4 minutes to cool down and did 20 minutes on various exercise machines. No swimming or cycling today.  Then we had a late family breakfast at AP Jones. We came home and worked, did the laundry and swept.  A beautiful sunny day in Cape Town. I am content.

Psalm 33:11

The counsel of the Lord stands forever, the plans of His heart to all generations.

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you!

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
