Extra Protection

Thursday

Today was the day…

It POURED with rain and we spent three hours at the Desmond Tutu Health Foundation in a slow moving queue for extra Covid protection. With us heading to Italy in 3 months time (DV), and then coming back on the ship, we thought it best to booster on up. When the Sisonki Trial people phoned us the other week saying we could be part of their next Moderna trial, we contacted them this morning and trotted off to get the shot.

I worked before and after and enjoyed chicken soup for lunch. The day was cold and drizzly and still is. It’s wonderful to have the rain.  So much rain there has been, the tanks are about 2/3 full!

The access coming up to our level once was a complete mess…this was July 2020, a few months before we moved in.

This is today! All those rocks…hundreds and hundreds of rocks have been re-purposed into Courage-built walls.

I asked Courage to etch his name into one of the columns.

God willing, one day, there will be a funicular running down the left side of the stairs. That will be a photo to take!

After no guests for a while, tomorrow we finally have someone coming. A writer! He needs a weekend to be still and get some serious writing done.

Psalm 37:11

The meek will inherit the land and enjoy peace and prosperity.

The best is yet to come – we are only passing through.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
