Today was the day…
We drove through to Swellendam because Elsie turns 3 today! We stopped off at Grabouw, so Mike could renew his passport…
Another milestone on the road…my car has done 100 000km…
Arriving in Swellendam it was wonderful to see the family. Elsie had loads of gifts…
She enjoyed playing with the new ones…
And watching David on Twitch…
She’s really growing up fast and well. She has an excellent vocabulary in both English and Afrikaans. She loves doing crafts, baking with her mom and playing with play dough. She is a whizz at Uno and doing puzzles. She absolutely loves swinging on the swing and wants to go higher! She has a tender heart and is so happy. She really enjoyed watching me blowing bubbles. I so loved spending time with her. Elsie, you are an absolute darling and I love you so much!
We had a braai in the afternoon and in the early evening went across to Adrian’s Dad’s house to see his amazing garden and his sound system. Certainly, he is inspirational!
Elsie is now fast asleep and we are also tucked up in bed.
