David’s Birthday!

3-16pm

Today is David’s birthday. He slept over last night and I HAD to wake him up before I went to work to wish him happy birthday. πŸ™‚Β He had something on early anyway!

After the show, I came home, and then the two of us went to see Granny to take her some more things.Β  David took his guitar and gave them an impromptu performance…

David giving an impromptu performanceGranny watched it while holding hands with the lady next to her. It was heart-warming…

Holding handsThen we took Granny down to the gardens. She LOVES going there…

Gardens at LCHAfter we had said goodbye, we went across the road to the Sweet Plum Cafe and ordered this…

Our order at the Sweet PlumI learnt the owners name is Caron and she has an elderly Mom as well. No doubt I will see her next week and we will talk some more.

In the afternoon, David & I had a game of chess…

About to play chess with David…which he won….easily!

Dinner is on the go. I need to get down to the Mall to buy electricity. When I tried yesterday, they were off line. I’m a bit stiff today from yesterday’s torturous workout. It’s my neck that’s taken a hammering! Clearly I have not exercised my neck muscles enough! Tonight Julian arrives from Joburg. πŸ™‚

YaY! Weekend!

1 Timothy 4:10 ‘We have put our hope in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, and especially of those who believe.’

This is a good verse to remember! Our hope is in Jesus Christ. He is the Saviour of ALL men…even those who don’t believe….but specially of those who do. God is not mocked. Just because people are criticizing Christianity, it doesn’t mean God’s position has changed!

God bless you richly!

In His Grip,

Helga xx πŸ™‚
