David Arrives in Seoul

Monday

Today was the day…

David arrived in Seoul. There’s not much more to say except he did. I haven’t heard from him since he walked through the airport admiring what he described as ‘astonishing’ infrastructure.

Very empty and very very clean.

Since then (5am SA time this morning), I haven’t heard from him and as Seoul is 7 hours ahead of us, it’s not likely I’ll hear from him this evening.

Meanwhile, back at home two major things happened. Firstly, Courage and his assistant Brian cleaned out the cottage laundry. This looks pretty bad on the photo but it’s a start & once it’s been painted and the ceiling & roof fixed, it will be a far cry from the dingy room it has been.

We’ve also had electrician Alfonso in to rewire the entire cottage. The wiring was really in tatters and it was pretty dangerous.

They have quite a long way to go because it’s every plug and every light and that includes upstairs, downstairs, outside and the garage. I’ll be happy when it’s done.

Today it rained mainly in the morning but the afternoon turned sunny. The wind has dropped and the next few days appear to be a bit more like spring.

I’m looking forward to the rest of this week. When September comes, my work load drops a tad and that’s what I feel has happened already. I only worked 6 hours today. Mike and I cleaned the Seaview Apartment so that’s ready for the next booking

An easy going Monday.

Psalm 119:114
You are my refuge and my shield; I have put my hope in your Word.

The best is yet to come – we are only passing through.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
