Cryptic SMS That Made My Day

It wasn’t very long nor descriptive. It may even have been identified as spam, but when I saw it, I knew it was THE ONE! The SMS I have been waiting for. Leanne the plans lady said she added my cell number to the plans submission document, so I would receive updates. Today I got the first:

Thank you!

#980 of my 1000 thanks – the plans have been received and I have an SMS to prove it. Step one. Leanne has warned me that there will be some strange ones possibly coming. I need not worry. She will take care of any queries. I’ll remember that.

We are still a very long way away from a building going up. When people ask if I am getting excited, I shake my head. “Nope! I’ll believe it when I see it.” There are two main hurdles to cross before I start believing that this building will happen:

  1. The Council will pass the plans.
  2. The foundations won’t cost us an arm and a leg.

Once the plans are passed and the foundations are laid, I will stand in awe that God has stamped His approval on the process. There are thousands of plans that get passed for houses that don’t get built, extensions that get forgotten, improvements that are put to one side. Usually, it’s an expense thing, so a lot rides of the cost of the foundations. But we have come this far and we trust the Lord to see us through.

Today was a good work day – I did more than 8 hours. Mike and I watched a short movie and that’s why this is coming out so late.

Almost bedtime.

Psalm 4:8

I will both lie down in peace, and sleep, for You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.

Amen!

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂

Gym:

No bike, no treadmill. It’s difficult without those two:

  • 5 minutes on the gruelling handbike.
  • 30 minutes Grid lean
  • 5 minutes rowing
  • 7 minutes stepping
  • 3 minutes arm weights
  • 10 minutes cross training

Braces:

Day 28.
