Crick in my Neck

Friday

Today was the day…

I woke up with a crick in my neck!  It really made the day a little tiresome, because it impacted everything I had to do. Eventually, after 2 myprodol and a hot shower this evening, it feels a little better. I had actually woken up at 3am and didn’t have it then, so after I went back to sleep, I must have slept awkwardly. At 3am, I enjoyed the view of the moon.

The day passed quietly enough. I took a walk to the shops and bought back some groceries. I also did a couple of hours work.

Mike meantime, got up on the roof with Courage and they have finished touching up the solar. They also have installed the geyser-wise unit. Scaffold can come down next week.

We have enjoyed watching the seagulls diving for fish. They certainly have skill and must have practiced for donkey’s years to get it right. Talking of seagulls, I have been trying to get a photo of one flying past my bedroom window. They come by from time to time, sweeping elegantly past in close proximity – so close you can see their eyes and facial detail. I’m so eager to get a photo, but trust me, it’s not going to happen without extreme patience. I waited for a while today. View while I waited.

A seagull in flight is a majestic sight.

On the neighbourhood watch group, the lone baboon Kataza has been reported in the vicinity – foraging in someone’s garden and entering another’s house and stealing avocados. Baboon monitors are trying to follow him but I guess overnight he can be elusive. A good night to keep windows securely shut.

We are looking forward to the weekend.

Ephesians 6:16

In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one.

The best is yet to come.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
