Today is the day…
I learned the date my braces will come off! Nothing is as easy as it looks and it always takes longer. The orthodontist’s receptionist called me and said that it has to be two appointments. The first is for the cast to be done for the retainer and the second is for the braces to be taken off. The first available day for the cast is 10th December. The first available day for the braces to come off is the 23rd December – one month today.
30 sleeps.
I let the dentist who is doing my implant know. Maybe he can pull some strings. If not, my orthodontic journey will end after 2 years and 40 days.
This morning we were up early and walked to Fish Hoek beach and back. There were some lovely sights…
I had a good morning of work. In the afternoon, I nipped across to the old house to check on how it was getting along and drop off a drill. Courage has made good progress.
After more afternoon work, Mike and I walked into Fish Hoek to pick up dishwasher salt! It’s a 3km round trip.
This evening I really should be doing some work. I was contacted by a guy I wrote articles for some years ago. He contacted me to re-write some website information. I’ve done about half. I think I’ll try do some more this evening.
