Cape Town Dam Levels – 2015 to 2019

Monday

Today was pretty busy but it increased in intensity as the afternoon progressed. There was just a number of things to do and so, after dinner and a quick walk to pick up berries, I worked until after 7pm.

I have just looked at the Cape Town dam levels for today and opened the comparison between this year and for the four preceding years. We are grateful!

Let’s hope there is some rain in the weeks ahead. It will be wonderful to see the dams overflow. I found note online that said in 2014 at around about this time, the total dam storage was 101%. It looks like rain on Sunday 25th but not much else until the spring month of September arrives.

It would be wonderful if we could start building around spring time, but we still have some way to go before we get that go-ahead. Having said that, yesterday we received another signature which means we have all but one. That is good progress. While we would love to get the build underway, I often comment or even just think of how far we are compared to this time last year. We didn’t know it would take so long to get the plans through Council, but we are closer to the end of the process than we have ever been before. We are closer to the start of the next process! It’s a pipe dream until it’s not.

Isaiah 32:17

The work of righteousness will be peace, and the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance forever.

Profound words.

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
