Boxes and Caffeine

Those are the two things that are on my mind today. Boxes, because Julian needs 100 of them. We have now got 25…

#369 of my 1000 thanks is for the 13 great boxes I picked up today! About 75 to go!

And caffeine because I have not had any since about Monday. My body is not adjusting well. I am now quite sleepy and having difficulty focusing! Caffeine withdrawal. No headaches though, just drowsiness! To counteract this, Mike and I went on a nice long walk of almost 6km. Beautiful sunny day,  it has definitely helped revive me.

The trucks are at work behind our house again. The serious heavy-duty steamrolling compactor has gone off to another site. In its place is an equally as large roller which causes far lighter vibrations that are not as invasive as the other one.

Although having just said it’s not very invasive, something has just fallen off a shelf behind me because of it!

The price of progress!

There are some things that never change and the Bible is one of them. This morning I encountered one of my favourite passages. It’s deep in the  Old Testament. A vast army is approaching the people of God and they don’t know what to do. The King gathers everyone together to pray. Within his prayer are these words…

2 Chronicles 20:12

“We do not know what to do, but our eyes are upon You.”

Such a great thing to remember. When you don’t know what to do, just keep your eyes on God.

These are the days!

Keep the smile going.

God bless you!

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
