A Debate Is Raging…

A Debate is Raging….

A debate is raging on the Rise and Shine show (mainly between PJ & I) about the many smsses we get and whether or not we should be mentioning all the names of those who sms in! This morning we couldn’t get through all of them, by any means… there were 196…

So what should we do? We love to hear from listeners and smssing is a quick and effective way of interacting with us. When the new texting while driving law became enforced in Cape Town, immediately the sms response dropped, but it has crept up again and many listeners want to be acknowledged. When the number of smsses are high, we just can’t name everyone. If you have any suggestions, I look forward to hearing from you!

This morning was chilly, so I was dressed warmly. PJ spent some time getting a decent photo to show I can-can kick!…

After a busy morning, I came home to an orderly home, thanks to Yvonne. Granny has elected to stay in bed. While it’s cold outside and rainy, she can see no reason to get up! Right now I’m watching SA play England in the final test. It’s at Lords and Jacques Kallis has just been given out, when he wasn’t! Nothing more annoying that that! Talking of Jacques Kallis, when he was at CCFm a couple of months ago, he signed a cricket bat for us, which we will put up on auction over Share-a-thon.

Soup for dinner!

That’s sorted then!

I made this my FB status this morning: Classic phone call of the day: I am in the studio and I play a song for Enoch who is 5 today. He phones to thank me and says, “I was singing and dancing, but my mom says you can’t hear me!” He can hear me on the radio …. why shouldn’t I be able to hear him, huh? 🙂

Adrian & Stacey status – probably arriving in Singapore just about now!

Psalm 139: 9-10 If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there Your hand will guide me, Your right hand will hold me fast.

They are in His grip,
So are you,
And me too!

Love Helga 🙂
