A Calm Day

Thursday

Today was the day..

That was calm. There was only a slight breeze and the sea was so still. It beckoned us – lured us – and we went. But it was chilly. The talk of the locals was the coldness of the sea. 13c they said. Nah, can’t be. Yes, they said.

Off I went. It was cold, but certainly not 13c. Maybe 15. Let me ask my watch. What a shock!

I swam for 33 minutes on what was one of the best swims I’ve ever enjoyed. The sea was so flat and so very clear. It was so easy to swim and there were very few people in the water. I swam to the barrel a few times and enjoyed staring up at the mountains admiring all that I could see. What a blessing. After our cruise, I’ll transition into my spring suit.

Home, shower, laundry, work.

The cottage guests checked out. We did all the linen and I’ve started putting it back. The people staying in the cottage while we are away are only staying downstairs, so I can prepare the upstairs for the special visitors who come when we get back from the cruise.

And now it’s the end of the day and Sense and Sensibility awaits.

The day is still calm and the sky speckled with a few distant clouds.

Tomorrow is antigen testing day.

Romans 5:2

Through Him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

The best is yet to come – we are only passing through.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
