6 Hour Work Day

Monday

Today was the day…

That was busy at work. I did almost 6 hours which is always a bit taxing as it’s sitting at my computer all that time.

Mike and I did do a morning walk. There is a little lighthouse at the end of the walkway. When we walked that way yesterday, we came back via this spot…

On the walk down today, we saw a baboon monitor who said Kataza was on the top of Elsie’s Peak and could be heading towards Glencairn. He said a ranger was up there following him. I wonder where he sleeps on this windy night.

And windy it is. A little earlier, I walked to the end of Echo Rd and back. This is at the end of Echo Rd looking towards Simon’s Town…

and this is looking up the road….

It is blowing gales. That part of Echo is particularly bad.

The other thing I did today was cut Mike’s hair. We had an old hair clipper, which is somewhere but I don’t know where it landed after we moved. Mike went and bought another. What a difference. So easy to use and so sharp. I did an ok job, although one side just above his ear is shorter than the other. I told him, but because he can’t see it, it’s not worrying him. It’s worrying me, but as we both concluded: it will grown again.

Meantime, we are waiting for the President’s speech at 8pm. We are anticipating a harder lockdown.

We’ll wait and see.

Proverbs 29:25

The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord shall be safe.

The best is yet to come.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
