Exodus 8:7 “But the magicians did the same thing by their secret arts; they also made frogs come up on the land of Egypt.”
I actually thought this was quite funny! God made a plague of frogs come up to the land of Egypt to try and persuade Pharoah to let the Israelites go. To undermine God, the magicians DID THE SAME THING! They made more frogs!! What an irony! They made the situation worse! You would think if they were to prove themselves better than God, they would have conjured up a trick to make the frogs go away! Ha! But they couldn’t! God is not mocked. You may encounter opposition in your life. The opposition may appear better than you (imagine what Moses and Aaron must have thought seeing the magicians making frogs!). But you cannot underestimate God. So keep focused. Don’t compare yourself to others. God WILL have the final say. Only HE could take the frogs away.
