Those of you who have listened to the Rise and Shine show for years, will remember PJ who presented with me on Thursday mornings! He left more than a year ago to work in Johannesburg! A year ago, he unexpectedly arrived at CCFm one morning with a beautiful blonde on his arm. He was smitten. Nadine had captured his heart! <3 They got engaged in December…

….and in two weeks time they get married! I feel so extremely privileged to be invited to their wedding. Today was Nadine’s Bridal shower and it was at the spectacular Vergelegen n Somerset West. It was a wonderful celebration and it was great to meet friends and family of both Paul and Nadine. Nadine is such a lovely person and she is the perfect match for PJ. I’m just so happy for them! Here’s Nadine with the other women in PJ’s life…his Mom, sister and aunts…
I chose eggs benedict for breakfast…
Everything was beautifully decorated with proteas on the table and a gift at each setting…
Vergelegen is magnificent and is a lovely place to visit to walk and just enjoy the beautiful surroundings….
It’s well known for its historic trees…

I definitely will return one day to mooch a little longer…perhaps to visit the rose garden…
One of the best places to visit is the Manor House and these three photos are my ‘gratitude’ pic…I love it…a long path takes you from a pedestrian gate through an old wall. Beautifully manicured lawns on either side, with a splendid array of flowers & trees to guide you on your way…

The manor house is open to the public and houses some of the original furniture. I will definitely return with friends and family!

The LORD is the portion of my inheritance and my cup; You support my lot. The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places; Indeed, my heritage is beautiful to me.
It was a beautiful morning with wonderful company and a love filled celebration. Really looking forward to the wedding!
And now I’m off to 9 holes of golf with my husband. Hernia’s being fixed on Tuesday. Although I can always feel it, it hasn’t been too sore today! I’ll take it easy!
